This car is a 1982 MK1 Golf GTi - 8 valve, one of the original 80's classic 'hot hatches'

We acquired this car early 2007, most parts are easily obtainable. The car had considerable amount of rust and rot so most panels were discarded and replaced with new, 2nd hand doors we bought. following considerable amont of time in the bodyshop the car has now been passed to the mechanics who hav renewed 75% of the running gear, refurbished the engine fitted a complete exhaust system and upgraded the wiring loom. The car is 95% complete,
